Mexy-co!

We recently spent a week in Mexico with our friends Jen, Cory, and Sophie.  We weren’t sure what to expect, taking two little ones south of the border.  The kids did great!  As you can see by the photos, the resort was beautiful and we all had such a fun time together.

Patience is a virtue

Still nothing.

New heights

Someone is getting brave lately.  Jack can officially crawl now and likes to pull himself up.  Unfortunately, he has multiple bruises on his head as a result of these courageous new activities.

Getting dressed

“Ellie do it!” is something we hear a lot lately.  On this particular day, she wanted to put her shirt on all by herself.  So she did.

Ellie’s New Thing

One of Ellie’s favorite things to do lately is to wear undies.  She talks a lot about using the potty and we hope she will actually do it soon.  We went to the store to buy her her very own undies recently.  She was really excited about it.  But…the undies she prefers to wear are her mom’s.  Not just one pair either.  She tries to wear as many pairs as possible.

Baby Boys + One Lucky Girl

Jack’s girlfriend, Lucy, finally moved back to SLC.  She and Jack’s other friends came over on August 11 for a baby food exchange.  Their mom’s are joining forces on making natural, healthy food for the little ones.  Aren’t they just the cutest little things?!

Organizing the garage

Jack was such a good sport about hanging out in a laundry basket while we worked on the garage (with help from our friend, Bob).  They say second children are much more easy going.  I guess they have to be.
