My mom says my hair is pretty unruly so she decided to do something about it. What do you think?

Ellie decided that she doesn’t really like her baby food anymore. I have to seriously distract her in order to get the spoon in her mouth. Instead, she wants to eat anything I am eating. Good thing? I guess so. Her first favorite was pesto tortellini, then a burrito bowl from Barbacoa (black beans, salsa, guac, rice). We then moved on to pasta with mushrooms and onions, grilled cheese, and mac & cheese…oh yea, and Jimmy Dean sausage. I think she has Jonny’s tase buds. I would rather have a daring eater than a picky eater. I just have to think about what to make for her next. That’s not easy for a mom who doesn’t enjoy cooking. We’ll see what I can come up with.
Ellie has a new best friend in the neighborhood. His name is Quinn and he is about 10 weeks old. We often sit in the front yard playing with our dogs. Quinn watches us from his yard, and when he feels the time is right, he bolts in to the yard hoping to have some fun with Harper and Carlee. Ellie gets so excited when she sees him. Her arms start flapping and she makes some sounds that make me think she is really happy.
How cute are these two?
We all packed up and headed to Florida for Mother’s Day this year. Jonny’s sister and brother-in-law have a condo in Naples, so we met up with them, Kelley, Kelton, Lena, Momma A, Aunt Karen, and my mom.
Ellie was not too keen on the sand and surf, but she loved being in the pool and hanging out with her grandmas, aunts, and cousins.
Aside from the plane ride, the trip was great and it was so fun getting to spend time with everyone.
