What a tease. This was taken a couple weeks ago. It seemed like spring was on it’s way in. Today our yard is blanketed with snow. Ugh. Bring on the spring!

Ellie’s namesake, her great grandma, passed away today. Ellie got to spend some time with her in Cleveland in the fall. Nan (as she was called by her grandchildren) had a disease that had been taking its toll for the last several years, but she perked up when she saw Baby Ellie. Nan kept repeating, “I can’t get over this baby. Isn’t she the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?” She even asked if the baby could spend the night at her house. During our last visit, I took tons of pictures . I thought I would share a couple of them here.
Nan will be greatly missed.
Ellie is sporting a lovely green outfit provided by her Aunt Thomasa. She received many compliments on her fashionable look.
St. Paddy’s Day had a new meaning for us this year. No green beer, green head-to-toe attire, green accessories, or parade marching. The mellow version of St. Paddy’s Day suited us just fine.
Sophie is Ellie’s first friend. The babies met in the hospital (although their parents had known each other for a while). Sophie was born July 6; Ellie on July 7. We used to spend a lot of time together, but now that we have moved, we miss them a lot.
We had a great time with Sophie and her parents last weekend. We hope they come visit us again soon!
I like this montage because you see a lot of different expressions over what was probably just a couple minutes. Ellie wasn’t really in the mood for a photo shoot that day. Poor baby…always has a camera in her face.
Man, my parents are so hip, they got me this really cool site where I can post cool new pictures of my adventures. Stay tuned for some cool stuff!
